Survivor

I would chose to vote Lindsay Lohan off the island.

1) The main reasons that i would choose her to be voted off is mainly for the poor decisions she has made. While starting her career as a young girl, it seemed promising. She was a role model to many young girls. As she grew older the partying scene and bad choices became more evident. Using drugs, heavily drinking, her sexcapades, all making her name more of a disgrace.

2)The effects that this will have on the media, will be nothing but good. Getting Lindsay Lohan off the island and out of the media, will hopefully only allow true role models to step into the lime light. I feel that if the other members and young girls of society see what has happened to her and how her life will never be the same it will teach them. Teach them, not what to do. The effects will all in all make society a better place.

3)My personal opinion for making the choice, was that i am against everything she has done. The alcholic-ness, drinking while driving, the drugs she uses, and her "pornography" that she has acted in. None of which are morally right to me. They destroyed her career and she now needs to get her bad choices under control and start her life over. The choices she made are despicable to girls, women, and people her age. How about to her parents and family, all of which are repercussions of her actions, that she never thought about.

Notecard Topics

1) College Costs:
It seems to be that the college costs are on the ever so, increase. When students graduate high school, to further their education it is time to pay for it. The money now comes out of your own pocket. With today's economy it is hard for everyone to receive a job, that makes enough money to pay for their education. And why must education cost so much? In order to receive a job that is well paying enough to support you and your family, you need to have a college degree it seems. What happens if people can't afford this? What are they supposed to do. I believe that education after high school should not be as expensive as it is.

2)Making Marijuana Legal:
There are three sides of this topic that people may consider. Legalizing it for everyone, or for those patients that are terminally ill, and those who would never want to see this drug legalized for any reason. I do not believe in legalizing it for the recreational use of just anyone, but i do see a need for it for those patients who are terminally ill, i.e cancer patients, etc. It would cause too many issues with the gov, peoples jobs, financial burdens, and lead to more serious use of other drugs.

3) Abortion:
I am pro choice. I believe that you have the control over your body and what you do to it, no one else.

4)Salary of pro athletes vs. doctors
I feel very strongly about this. Why would entertainers make more money then those of doctors, who work hard everyday to save peoples lives. Why is it, that athletes who are just playing sports, make millions more then those of doctors. That isn't fair to the doctors who worked so hard to get where they are to help people.

5)Gun control:
Who has the right to own a gun? this topic could be approached many ways. Do mentally ill people have the right to own one? What about those who have been convicted of a crime? As stated, we have the right to bear arms, but who? if anyone could own a gun, how many more shootings would occur, how much violence would there be? Would we be safe?

6) Gay Marriage:
I believe that it is your life, do what you want with it. Who am i to sit here and dictate who you can and cannot marry. If you love the person marry them. Are gays any different the heterosexuals? No.

Break the rules, pay the price

Every gun manufacturer has to follow specific rules and regulations before they sell a gun to a person. The widow of Mr. Woods is suing the gun manufacturer because they did not follow the rules when selling the gun. I firmly believe that Ms. Woods, and her lawyer Mr. Rohr, will win this case.
Mr. Rohr seems to be one of the best lawyers around. He follows the law, and even when he was presented with the opportunity to win "big bucks" he declines the offer, and wants the picture shredded right away. I think he will win the case because he knows what and how to present evidence. Now, im sure we are in for more turns in the movie, but from what I have see thus far, my prediction is that the final outcome of the trial will be Mr. Rohr winning the case.
